Eric Lopez, President

Eric Lopez is a naturalized American citizen from Dakar Senegal. He was a track athlete who ran for the National Team as a youth and attributes his success in life, especially as a public school teacher, to that experience. He is a community activist who uses his past and present privilege to pay back when he sees a need.

Oumar Toure, Vice President

Oumar is a native of Senegal and a US Naturalized Citizen who currently resides in southern California. Oumar is a former all-American collegiate track and field athlete. Now, he is a Healthcare Information technology professional specializing in data management. He manages his time between his profession, his family and his desire to help the African continent and abroad with development projects.

Gwendolyn Glover, Treasurer

Gwendolyn P. Glover is a Manager of Human Capital Development at Kao Specialties Americas, LLC in High Point, North Carolina.  She brings notable experience to Sponsor Zone in strategic planning, management, and development.   She is a Masters level chemist and works with other professionals to create opportunities for employees to grow in their career paths and increase organizational productivity.

Etta Zasloff, Secretary

Etta Zasloff is a retired public educator who divides her free time between being an activist for democracy and social justice. She freely volunteers her tech skills to serve her church and nonprofit organizations that are close to her heart. She is an avid reader, golfer, and adventure traveler - life long learner.

Jean-Paul Diatta, Director

Jean-Paul Diatta (JP), foreign language teacher and cultural studies/financial aid administrator was born in the southern region of Senegal, the Casamance. He has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and an M. Ed in TESOL. He ran track and field in High school and for the local team, the Casa Sports of Ziguinchor. He is now living in the state of Maryland, USA.

Shirley Moore, Director

Shirley Moore, entrepreneur and founder of Be Moore Interpreting in Pawtucket, RI was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and raised in Providence, RI. She and her husband are co-pastors at the Fortified Life Church in Providence. Shirley travels the world, and offers motivation courses, especially for Latina entrepreneurs.

Khadidiatou Gaye

Khadidiatou Gaye, Director

In her youth Khadidiatou Gaye, was a track athlete on the Jaraaf Sports Team during the same era as Eric Lopez, founder of Sponsor Zone, was running for Jeanne d’Arc. She brings that experience, a background in volunteering for a sports nonprofit and her recent certification in sports management to the Board of Sponsor Zone. She works as a senior technician in a private laboratory in Dakar, Senegal.
